“Sync radio. Every once in a while, without warning, the radio will suddenly emit an extremely loud explosion noise, enough to startle you to jerk the wheel and leaving your ears ringing. This has happened to us three times since owning the vehicle. Once on a local highway and twice on the freeway. At all times was the vehicle being driven in a straight line. Research online shows many complaints as this appears is a common problem with the sync radio and Lincoln has no resolution. This is a safety issue that should be addressed.”
