“I'm getting exhaust smell coming out of vents. Making me sick & giving me headaches.. Took it to dealer did nothing, replaced cabin filte ? Happens when driving but not always. Been going on for weeks. Now it's making bad noise under car when I start driving for about 5 minutes then stops..”

NHTSA complaint #11268452, filed 2019-10, 40,000 miles

“My vehicle's power shut down without any warning on busy city street (3 lane road). I was unable to steer or brake. I had to coast off the road until car stopped. Then I put it into park. It restarted and drove fine after the restart. Very scary. Thankful I wasn't driving 70 MPH on busy interstate. Throttle body replaced recently as engine had been bucking and wasn't accelerating when gas pedal was depressed.”

NHTSA complaint #11245337, filed 2019-08, 61,800 miles

“Recall # 14v393000 is for my make, model & year, but not the VIN # (Lincoln 2013 MKX). The car is having the same problem as on this recall. Starting a week ago, my car moves & rolls when put in park especially on uneven pavement. Should you lose power going 70 MPH if this recall is causing the problem, it will result in deadly crash. Contacted Lincoln customer service representative who refused to pay for inspection to check if halfshaft and linkshaft are causing the car to move when in park. …”

NHTSA complaint #11145242, filed 2018-11, 29,400 miles

“Near the end of my 35 minute commute home I stopped at a red light on a busy city street. When the light turned green, I put my foot off the brake and placed it on the accelerator. . The car would not accelerate. The low engine pressure light came on. I turned the steering wheel to coast the car to the right lane. I put the car in park. I had the car towed to a dealer. The dealer could not duplicate the problem and the computer had no history of the error messaage. Very troubling. I drive the freeway to work during early morning hours. …”

NHTSA complaint #11031808, filed 2017-10, 79,000 miles

“Near the end of my daily hour long commute home I was coming up to a stop sign, as I was decelerating up to the stop sign, the low oil pressure light came on, the steering seize up, the accelerator failed to function, and the braking was sluggish. I was luckily able to steer to the side of the road. I put the vehicle in park, pressed the power button to turn the car off and the car turned off. I turned the car back on as normal and all systems appeared to function as if nothing had happened. …”
