- 10099077Mar 16, 2017Body and structure. Some 2016-2017 mkx vehicles may exhibit one or both rear doors that are hard to open in freezing temperatures. This may be due to water entering and freezing the rear door exterior latch cable. Follow the service procedure steps to correct the condition.
- 10099458Mar 14, 2017Equipment. Some vehicles may exhibit an illuminated mil with diagnostic trouble codes (dtcs) p0011, p0012, p0014, p0015, p0016, p0017, p0018, p0019, p0021, p0022, p0024 and/or p0025. This may be due to small debris causing the vct solenoid to stick. Before attempting any component diagnosis or replacement of the vct solenoid, refer to powertrain control and emissions diagnosis (pc/ed) pinpoint test hk11 to cycle the affected…
- 10099455Mar 9, 2017Electrical system. Some 2017 fusion, mkz, continental and mkx with an instrument panel center mounted speaker may exhibit no audio, navigation inoperative, inability to access audio features with all controls including steering wheel switches and voice commands with diagnostic trouble code (dtc) u0184. If unable to communicate with the audio control module (acm), remove the radio power fuse for 10 minutes to reset the acm.

If the 3g tcu was operating on a 2g network, it will not automatically attempt to reconnect to the…
- 10095216Jan 27, 2017Engine. When servicing a 2.7l or 3.0l ecoboost engine, if the crankshaft pulley is removed, correct reassembly is critical to prevent potential engine failure. This includes installing a new crankshaft pulley bolt and accurately performing each stage of the crankshaft pulley bolt torque sequence. Crankshaft pulley related workshop manual (wsm) procedure and recommended tool (otc 4754 or equivalent) information have been…
- 10095184Jan 24, 2017Equipment. Replacing the original equipment sync/navigation system with either an aftermarket sync/navigation kit or modifying original sync/navigation parts to provide additional features is not recommended nor supported on any ford, mercury or lincoln vehicle.
