“Today was the 7th tire that needed to be replaced since leasing this car since january 2014.these low profile tires are terrible. I feel this is unacceptable. I was offered a tire warranty which I regret I did not purchase. Regardless, this is a safety issue. The car does not come with a spare. I feel someone could end up stranded somewhere. Each time was either a small pothole, rock, minor bump in the road, or it just went flat!”

On january 8, 2015 a second tire blew out causing a near fatal accident. It blew in 20 degree weather with such force as to lift the vehicle off the ground and spin it in the air.”

The contact stated while having the vehicle serviced, the lug nuts were unable to be removed from the wheels due to swelling. The vehicle was diagnosed by a local tire dealer with failure of the lug nuts. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000.”
