“The contact owns a 2016 Lincoln MKZ. The contact stated that the driver's side seat belt failed to function as needed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the part to do the repair was not available. The contact related the failure to Technical Service Bulletin: 16S42 (Pretensioner Cable). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 86,000.”
