“The contact owns a 2016 Lincoln MKZ. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear passenger's side door independently unlatched and opened. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that while attempting to close the door, the door failed to close or latch as intended. The contact stated that the contact's grandson was seated in the rear passenger's seat during the failure that occurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not inspected. …”
NHTSA complaint #11746405, filed 2026-06, 115,000 miles“The contact owns a 2016 Lincoln MKZ. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V162000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for the front brake flexible hose inspection. The contact stated that while the dealer was conducting the inspection, the hood failed to open after several attempts. The dealer then lubricated the hood latch and was able to open the hood after several attempts. The dealer informed the contact that the brake fluid was at the minimum level. …”
