“Since the recent software update, the Lucid does not always give me the back up camera when in reverse. I have not contacted our dealership or tried to delete the update. I do have a video of this happening.”
NHTSA complaint #11774249, filed 2026-10“Vehicle accelerated fully by itself, with no acceleration from the driver, and violently collided with the parked vehicle in front of it. The impact was so strong that it pushed the parked vehicle into the vehicle in front of it. Safety was greatly put at risk, had there been people in the impacted vehicles, or a child crossing in front of our vehicle when the acceleration was activated. The vehicle has not been inspected, but a case with the manufacturer has been opened, and the vehicle data has been retrieved. …”
