“I am exiting the freeway, and the far two right lanes both exit. I’m in the inner exiting lane, and I signal to take the exit. There’s a car to my right, exiting at the same time. As I’m taking the exit, my Gravity Grand Touring seemingly thinks I’m going to turn into the other car exiting near me and engages the collision intervention, whereby it forcibly steers me into the gore point until I wrestle the steering wheel back into the correct lane. …”

NHTSA complaint #11755701, filed 2026-08

“When you press the button in the middle row to fold the seat forward so that the rear passenger can go to the back, the force of the chair is very strong. It almost knocked me out because my head was there and it flung forward. Also the middle seat on the middle row doesn't latch. You really have to use all your force to have it latch. The dream drive (auto drive) on the lucid is activated by the buttons on the steering wheel. The buttons do not work all the time. Sometimes I have to press it 5 times for it to disengage. …”

NHTSA complaint #11737914, filed 2026-05

“DreamDrive Pro 2 is extremely dangerous and should have an immediate STOP order for all Lucids. It fails to identify road hazards and take evasive action. In multiple instances, the car has accelerated towards a stopped object and has abruptly removed autonomous driving while engaged during turns, resulting in the car veering towards obstacles.”

NHTSA complaint #11714580, filed 2026-01

“The windshield washer system on vehicle became inoperable at the beginning of July. This condition has occurred for nearly 4 months now, and despite numerous, repeated attempts, Lucid Motors won’t take the vehicle in for service. A mobile technician did inspect the vehicle on 9/4/26 and told me he was unable to fix issue and that it needs to brought in for service. The Lucid Motors service department refuses to schedule the repair. …”
