“Takata recall - the local Mazda dealer tried to order the parts; but, was not allowed to even access the order page. Somehow, Mazda has my mailing address. I want them to contact me and include my phone and email so they can quickly contact me when the parts are available. In the meantime, their letter says not to allow anyone to ride in the passenger seat. What??”

NHTSA complaint #10925951, filed 2016-11, 40,000 miles“Takata recall: I received a notice in summer 2016 advising me of the recall for the passenger-side airbag. The letter instructed me to not carry any passengers until the airbag is fixed. As of today (2/11/2017), the NHTSA lookup page says recall status: recall incomplete, remedy not yet available. This is taking too long. How do I disable my passenger-side airbag?”
