Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“After starting to drive my car to the top of my street which was only 15 feet from my driveway, I hear a loud clunk from the rear of the car. After taking my car to the dealership the diagnosed the problem was a sheered rear differential front mount bolt. The problem is Mazda knows about this issue and have a reinforcement kit to fix it. This is a problem since it seems like it is a design flaw in the equipment and Mazda has failed to recall this product since no one has filed complaint or been in accident (thankfully) due to this issue.”
