“I would like to report the vance who is the auto manager at sears auto in salem, oregon at 955 lancaster drive ne salem, oregon 97301. I bought 4 new tires in june 2018 and purchased a road hazard plus warranty. In between this incident I am reporting to you; I reported vance for being very unprofessional to me in the store, making demeaning comments to me, and denying me the opportunity to buy all season tires that were available online. I filed a complaint in july after going in for an oil change and vance doing something to my headlights when he was not asked to. …”

NHTSA complaint #11129590, filed 2018-09, 168,183 miles

“I have a 2003 Mazda MPV es. It has 60,000 miles on it. My problem is with the brakes, I think! No one can find anything wrong. Know how it sound if you run over an unlevel manhole cover at a slow speed? Everytime I brake, there's a clangy metal to metal sound. Loud! I have had the van put on a rack 4-5 times, and no one can visibly see anything wrong. I have looked at all the recalls and see nothing similar to this. It's driving me crazy because it sounds like the bottom is falling out everytime I brake..”

NHTSA complaint #10346010, filed 2010-07, 50,000 miles

“Bad vibration caused by the front brake rotors being out of round. Dealer resurfaced rotors two times and now needs resurfacing a third time. The MPV only has 31,000 miles on it. The dealer will not replace under warranty. This should not happen at approximately every 10,000 miles. It is a 2003 purchased new in 2004. The tires are wearing in the front due to the alignment to the point of needing replaced. The alignment should not of gone bad in this short of time.”

NHTSA complaint #10158502, filed 2006-05, 1,000 miles

“The rear brakes squeaked very loudly when coming to a stop. The consumer had the brakes inspected by the dealer three times but the dealer has noyt been able to find or correct the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10044472, filed 2003-10, 25,000 miles

“Brakes rear- squeak frequently when stopping. Already serviced once, squeeked on the way home. Due for 2nd service. Occurs on most every stop, near the end of the stop.”

NHTSA complaint #10007590, filed 2003-02, 500 miles
