2018: “When stopped the brake pedal slowly goes to the floorboards. Sometimes I have to repeatedly pump the brake pedal while at a stop light to prevent running into the car in front of me. Took it to a dealership and they drove the car but couldn't fine any problems. The master cylinder leak down is getting progressively worse with time. I believe that I am qualified to write about this as I was, when younger, a top mechanic for porsche and volkswagen.”

2016: “On march 29,2018 my daughter parked her 2016 Mini Countryman in my driveway and came in to visit. 10 minutes later my wife went outside and saw the Mini engine compartment on the drivers side on fire. By the time the fire dept. Arrived, the Mini and my 2 cars were on fire. All 3 were totaled, my driveway was ruined and the siding on my garage was damaged by the heat of the fire.. I remember Mini recalling their vehicles with turbos in 2012. …”

2019: “While driving my Countryman on the highway at about 50 MPH, I my steering wheel suddenly and randomly jerked to the right. The jerk was sever enough to cause the car to swerve into the next lane cutting off a close by vehicle. I was able to maintain my line, and the issue occurred again causing my car to swerve an additional time. This is of serious concern for all drivers that this happens to and I am afraid that this will result in injury or death. During this time the elweather was dry and about 60f.the road was clear of debris, potholes and bumps. …”
