2002: “I've had this 2002 Mitsubishi Galant for a number of years and have always had a problem with the lights. They don't shine bright enough to clearly see the road ahead. It is a constant problem. I thought it was just a problem with my car, but it seems like other people have had the same problem.”

I see there are 3 recalls- lighting (headlights), fuel, and something related to airbags though different than the tekada brand. I bought this car for my newly licensed 18 year old. Please help me make sure this car is safe! She does tell me the headlights are very dim and she drives w her high beams?”
NHTSA complaint #10788188, filed 2015-11, 172,000 miles2001: “I have had repeated incidents where my horn will sound during the night, and if I was using it as a warning to another driver. I have had it checked several times, and I was finally told that the airbag is probably what is causing the problem. Now my horn doesn't sound at all and this poses a safety hazard to me, my children and any other passengers as well as other drivers and pedestrians.”
