Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Jan 03 the brakes would squeal loudly when braking in cold weather. The two front tires continually lost air and needed to be refilled every 3-4 weeks. Upon dealer inspection, nothing was found wrong. Upon recall notice of the growling of the tires (around april 04) the vehicle was brought into the dealership and the two front tires were replaced. …”

NHTSA complaint #10104639, filed 2004-12, 16,800 miles

“Dt: the front end and tire defects. At 7438 miles, car was rumbling at stop speed. Dealer put new front tires and aligned front end. At approximately 10,000 miles dealer installed new front brakes. At 12, 493 miles the car was rumbling at stop speed. Dealer put new front brakes and aligned front end again. Both times tires had cupped, and thread separated. If it did not get fixed it could result in a crash. ( a blow out ).”

NHTSA complaint #10123757, filed 2005-06, 7,438 miles

“Tire feathering, on front end seems to be non-correctable resulting in repetitive premature replacement of tires. I was told by service mgn. That caster adjustment is at full, and can not correct for the towin causing the tire wear.”

NHTSA complaint #10069446, filed 2004-01, 7,420 miles

“Brembo aluminum calipers were used with steel bolts causing the breaks to get himot & seize the steel bolt in the calipers. 1 out of 2 brake jobs end up costing thousands & hours of work to get the seized bolts out, I have had a caliper fall off going 65 & got caught in between my tire & rear wheel arc.”

NHTSA complaint #11614659, filed 2024-09

“It’s the ABS Module not for sure what exactly is wrong with it but it does not function like it should. Also if you look at other vehicles of the same model just different year why was it changed like a different design entirely. What it does is I don’t get full brake power or pressure like half at this point you stop but it’s a slow rolling stop or something. Makes me believe there was an issue when the car came out and the next year it was changed. …”
