“All the crankshaft senors and cam sensors failed with a total lose of power creating and very dangerous situation since I could not steer the car to a safe location. In other words I was very lucky that an accident was not created as a result of this failure. There was no warning and no backup to power the vehicle safely on the city street.”
NHTSA complaint #11091443, filed 2018-05, 49,000 miles“I've experienced recently that I can't seem to fill up my gas tank full. The gas pump just stops pumping fuel after 5 or 6 gallons, and there's gas spillage all over the gas inlet pipe. It's annoying and it's happening every time I fill up. Vehicle is shut off while filling up. I've done some research online and there are more people having this issue and Nissan has not issued a recall.”
NHTSA complaint #10864961, filed 2016-05, 95,000 miles“The consumer was unable to put fuel into his 2005 Nissan 350 z. The pump would shut off as soon as the trigger was pulled. The dealer replaced the fuel filler tube. Nissan denied a defect. The consumer also experienced sudden acceleration issues, in fact one incident occurred while pulling into a parking lot. This was a low speed collision and the damage was minor.”
