NHTSA complaint #11209980, filed 2019-05, 300 miles

“I get error message for my 2019 Nissan Altima of engine malfunction, reduce power, service now. Along with other safty features like cash detection, traction and engine light. My car shakes, feels like it will stall especially when stopped and jerks. My VIN does not show this recall. I have gotten this message several times and a obd code reader gives code p0404.”

NHTSA complaint #11693179, filed 2025-10

“I continuously have issues with it showing a crash and with the warning engine malfunction, power reduced, service now light coming on. This has been a recurring issue. There is always a light coming on in this car. I don't know if it is sensitive sensors or if it was poorly made.”

NHTSA complaint #11733523, filed 2026-04

“When the cruise control is on and I push on the brake to merge lanes or because a vehicle in front of me stops, the car continues to accelerate and gets stuck in acceleration the RPMs go up wildly.”

NHTSA complaint #11486059, filed 2022-09

“My car since 45000 miles has had an acceleration issue. When I engage the gas pedal, 3- 5 seconds pass before the vehicle moves. Once moving, the engine will stutter or slightly jerk forward and backwards, almost to a stalling point. The safety issue is the potential for accident as cars may collide with me from the side or rear not seeing the issue I’m having. Dealership refuses to fix telling me not to bring it in until a check engine light is on. There is electrical malfunctions happening in my car as I near 100k miles still having this issue. …”
