“Bought a 2004 Nissan Armada 08/08/2016 the second day I had to go to the dealers and pay close to 4xx to have a computer hooked up to it because my brake light came on and didnt have any brakes, it then happened the second week of owning the vehicle, called Nissan north america at first I was told I would be reimbursed and my problem fixed then was told its out of warranty. Regardless it was not my fault Nissan does not no how to make vehicle or fix there fauly problems. …”
NHTSA complaint #10910425, filed 2016-09, 200 miles“Today, my family & I almost bought the farm when the brakes went out on a freeway off ramp on our way back from phoenix. We exited the freeway at 70 MPH and I applied the brakes to stop at the light. The brakes made a loud scraping noise, were non-functional and we were approaching cross traffic at 60 - 70 MPH. I immediately dropped the car into neutral, started to apply the parking brake and headed for the dirt on the side of the road, figuring I would rather hit a tree or fence than t-bone a vehicle in the cross traffic. …”
NHTSA complaint #10340435, filed 2010-06, 59,812 miles“We have been experirencing problems with cabin noise. There is wind getting in the vehicle and you can definitelty hear it. Another problem we have had is the right rear power window scrubbing when you let it up or down. I have set an appointment for it and the cabin noise to be serviced. I called the dealership today and asked about recalls on this vehicle, because mine shakes as you are stopping, possibly a brake or rotor problem. I was told there were no recalls, but they didn't even tell me about the service bulletins on this vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #10096078, filed 2004-10, 3,150 miles“We bought a brand new 2004 Nissan Armada from brown&brown Nissan in tempe arizona on may 12, 2004. The car has problem with alignment and brakes. The steering always lean to the right even run on the floated road, the whole car shaken when running on the rough road and breaking, window making noise when car shaken. We brought the vehicle back to the dealer and notify them about the problems that we had experienced on may 13, 2004. The service tech told us it is normal nothing wrong with the vehicle and said that Nissan made all vehicles like that. …”
NHTSA complaint #10073040, filed 2004-05, 826 miles“My 2004 Nissan pathfinder Armada is in serious need of a larger braking system. After only 5500 miles of mostly highway driving my Nissan developed a front brake shudder indicating the rotors were warped. I took it to the brown & brown dealer in mesa, az where I bought it. They seemed to know what the problem was and assured me it would be fixed. There are several other problems with my truck suchas, bubbles in the windshield a leaky sunroof that shudders when closing, the dimmer switch for the interior lights wasn't even connected. I found a loose bolt on the floorboard. …”
