“I was driving on the highway on my way to work when my car suddenly started to stall (in the middle of the highway). I ran out of gas with what my gage said was a little over a quarter of a tank left. There was no gas light on. Once someone was able to bring me gas, my car started back up. I looked up recalls on this model, and even though my VIN is not effected , I believe it is part of this recall. (NHTSA campaign number 10v074000)”

NHTSA complaint #11093732, filed 2018-05, 122,000 miles

“The instrument panel gas gauge said that I had a quarter of a tank of gas when in reality I was on empty. I had gone to pick up my daughters friend when it ran out of gas. This is the 4th time is has happened. Once was on a highway in another city near my home. I can't trust it. Whenever I get to half of a tank, I put more fuel in just in case because the truck will stop without any warning when this happens.”

NHTSA complaint #10648166, filed 2014-10, 299,780 miles

“The instrument panel fuel gauge inaccurately displays that the vehicle still has some fuel, about one quarter tank, when the fuel tank is empty. The vehicle stop working on several occasions while I was driving on the road with my family in the truck. I did not now that it was because of the gas. Fortunately no-one was hurt but it could have produced a series car crash also, passenger airbag light comes on so dealer had to change the old one”

NHTSA complaint #10789861, filed 2015-11, 60,000 miles

“Check engine light remained on due to catalytic converter failure. Received warranty notice from Nissan of problem with catalytic failure, however, my mileage prevented free replacement. My state require emission testing each year, therefore, without replacement I would be unable to register my truck. My truck was purchased new and is service on a regular basis. Paid for replacement.”

NHTSA complaint #10424386, filed 2011-09, 106,100 miles

“Suv ran out of gas at highway speed in center lane during heavy traffic on wife and kids, gauge read 1/4 of tank. Stepped on brake didn't work had a load noise, vdc light, brake light on dash. Understand now that ABS system failed and fuel sending unit failed. Nissan has told me that they have a recall on the fuel sending unit on the same year make and model but not mine? They have tried really hard to kill my family with this faulty expensive equipment.”

NHTSA complaint #10759044, filed 2015-08, 134,000 miles
