“I purchased a 2009 Nissan CUBE krom in november of 2013. Upon receipt, I noticed that one of the tires kept going low on air. So the shop inflated the tire and I thought it was resolved. 2 weeks later, the same tire was low on air. I put air in it again and took it to the dealer to have the pressure sensor looked into and see it that was an issue. They assured me that wasn't the issue. For the next 3 months, I was putting air in the tire on a weekly, and nearly daily basis. …”
NHTSA complaint #10595351, filed 2014-06, 51,000 miles“The tire pressure light sensor remains lit. The pressure on the tires are correct and there is not loss of pressure, however the sensor light does not turn off. There has already been a recall on other cubes for this matter.”
NHTSA complaint #10433143, filed 2011-10, 21,600 miles“The contact owns a 2009 Nissan CUBE equipped with toyo a20 tires. The contact stated that an independent repair shop was replacing a flat tire when he was informed that three of the four tires were splitting away near the wheel wells. The rear passenger tire was the only tire not exhibiting the failure. The tires were not replaced. The manufacturer was notified and no further assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 30,000. The VIN was unavailable.”
