“2010 Nissan CUBE. Horrible handling conditions in winds over 25 MPH. Tire light would come off and on. Thought it was due to cold and hot weather. Took vehicle in to ed hicks Nissan because of the handling. They said it was tire. Put nitrogen in tires. I had also been informed that they sale the cars with this so did not know how this would resolve issue. 24 hours later light comes on again and stays on. Had tire pressure checked-showed all 35. Drove with this light on for a week-live 60 miles from dealer was waiting for a day when I drove in. …”
NHTSA complaint #10392167, filed 2011-03, 5,100 miles“The contact owns a 2010 Nissan CUBE with toyo tires, line size p195/60/r15. The contact stated that all four tires were completely worn out. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop, who stated that the failure was normal wear and tear. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and offered no assistance. The tires were not replaced. The DOT number was not available. The failure mileage was 20,000 and current mileage was 21,000.”
