Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Since I purchase my Nissan CUBE on cool mornings(under 60) the passenger air bag will be off when a 110 pound person is in the seat. After less than 5 miles of driving the air bag will turn on. The local Nissan dealer has had the car in 3-4 time and as there is no code in the computer they say they are not able to fix the problem. As most accidents happen close to home this could be a big problem.”

I was also told their waiting for a recall and that when indicator light is on ,, airbags are not working,,, this happens while driving,, only”
