Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“January 15, 2025 (~1,000 miles): Infotainment system was black at startup. Vehicle was beeping and flashing warning/service lights. System would not shut off. This occurred three times within the first week. I contacted the selling dealer for guidance. No documentation was provided for that initial report. • I was unable to bring the vehicle in immediately due to a family medical emergency but continued reporting the issue. • Prior to February 7, 2025: I contacted Deery Nissan regarding the ongoing infotainment malfunction and water leaking through the rear hatch during a car wash. …”

NHTSA complaint #11719426, filed 2026-02

“The passenger door opens while driving and at times will not open. The dealership has a back order for a part in which I was told it could take months to receive. The part is a door accentuator. Corporation and dealership refused to provide a loaner or rental vehicle”

NHTSA complaint #11649378, filed 2025-03

“Upon inspection by a certified technician, the windshield was found to have a stress crack. The repair evaluation confirmed there is no visible point of strike or impact from road debris. Although similar issues are commonly reported, the manufacturer denied knowledge of any widespread problem and refused to cover the repair costs. Previous management of this concern was negligent in addressing the defect. I have videos, photos of the damage, and a copy of the repair receipt available as evidence.”
