“From a complete stop my car would not accelerate faster than 10 MPH. It has happened several times now. The first time I was on the highway in stop and go traffic and when it was time to accelerate, I was unable to even pressing the gas all the way to the floor. I had to pull over and brake, then hit the gas and it was able to go again. The next time was after braking at a stop sign. The third time was after stopping at a red light. I had heavy traffic behind me and I could only go 10 MPH. …”

On 12/22/2018 I took my vehicle to baron Nissan where I purchased it and advised that the vehicle would not accel when speed was below 20 miles per hour. If I attempted to slow down and then begin to accel again the vehicle would not move. It just rolls as I press the gas pedal many times. Then all of a sudden the vehicle would begin to accel. The dealer advised the stop lamp switch needed to be replaced and it was covered under warranty. …”

The engine would not stall, but would only accelerate almost at idle speed. The symptom of the problem would occur a couple of time then the slip indicator light would display and stay on until the car was shut down and restarted, I have several pictures demonstrating the issue as described for when the indicator slip light for the limited slip control would display in clear conditions. …”

Vehicle would not go over 20 MPH from a complete stop and or when switching from braking to accelerating. Also break lights were left on even if vehicle was turned off. The fault is the stop lamp relay circuit and stop lamp switch.”
