“I purchased a used 2015 Pathfinder. It's been in the shop 4 times in 7 months. Transmission issue, jerking the car...in middle of intersection..part inside the transmission. The gear shifter went out & now the fan. Of course I've had to fight with Nissan affairs and they are only willing to pay 60%! After reading all the complaints there should be a recall!”
NHTSA complaint #11170502, filed 2019-01, 76,000 miles“The cooling fan started making a terrible noise at around 48,000 miles. The noise would happen when the fan kicked on. The fan was starting to separate from the bearing. I called Nissan and they wouldn't cover it. I told them many other nissans are having the same issue. They said they would put my complaint on file. I had to pay for a new fan out of pocket.”

I took it to Nissan on numerous occasions and no problem could've been found until the last time. They informed me that the brakes would come on automatically. They believe it was a sensor problem, however, the problem still happens all the time.”

Now I have to get this fixed but I am not the only one their are thousands of people online who had the same problem with the same vehicle just search it online and you will find it. I guess this a common problem with the Nissan pathfinders and this needs to be recalled.”
NHTSA complaint #11329612, filed 2020-06, 44,507 miles“Couple of things, first the front passenger air bag is set to off when there is an adult sitting there, and I have a blinking airbag light, at all times no matter what. Second, there is a loud noise coming from the engine when I turn my heater on. I can also feel the vibration when I'm still. The SUV only has about 44k miles. I see this is a common issue that has not been addressed. I'm definitely disappointed.”
