“While in drive mode my car just shut off. The dash cluster, screen, etc remained on. I was able to put the car in park and start it again, however this could have caused me a horrible accident losing power while in drive like this. I just purchased this vehicle in June of 2024. It has 81k on it. I called the dealership which I bought it at Mccarthy Auto in Sedalia MO. They said I should call Nissan.”

NHTSA complaint #11616921, filed 2024-09

“My new 2021 rogue sport does not always excellarate, especially on U turns or wait I g to make a turn. I have had the car less than 3 months and near afraid to drive it. It almost does one or more of these when out driving. I mentioned it to the dealership and they say it has a break in point and I needed to drive it for at least 1500 miles. It just went over 1000 miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11458115, filed 2022-03

“UNKNOWN I fell victim to a wiretapping incident that is still under Federal investigation that began in my vehicle on June 23rd, 2023. This concern is in regard to life safety and loss of control of the vehicle on or around the same time, due to radio transmission feedback beeping coming from the passenger side speaker, as well as what sounded like an emergency response unit radio. The noise would not stop until I pulled the plug on the battery of the car as well as the fuse panel to the head unit. …”

NHTSA complaint #11565494, filed 2024-01

“I am having a problem with my Front Driver Side Door Lock Actuator, because of the faulty actuator, the car door remain unlocked while driving and this is a big safety risk”

NHTSA complaint #11665019, filed 2025-06

“The actuators on the doors are failing, so the door locks are unreliable. I paid to have the front passenger door's actuator replaced at a cost to me of almost $700. Now I am having the same issue with the driver's side actuator, which means another $700 repair. I worry that the same thing will happen to the two back doors. To me, this is a quality issue. The car is barely 3 years old (i purchased it in August 2020). If I don't spend the money to get this fixed, I run the risk of getting carjacked or the car broken into. …”
