“This is the second time in the last 45 day that we have had a report of the front end popping . We took 1 vehicle to Nissan of Murfeesboro and they replaced both front shaft assemblys. This vehicle was taken to Newton Nissan and they had to do the same repair on this vehicle. I have 12 of the year, make model in our fleet and have serious concerns”

This was so loud, that I heard it over the noise of my audio, playing fairly loud, to begin with. This, coupled, with previous experience, and the ride on this vehicle becoming incredibly rough, leads me to believe that the ball joints are froze up. This car is less than two months old, with 2,700 miles on it. …”
NHTSA complaint #11622132, filed 2024-10“To the best of my knowledg The front LH drive shaft came off the transaxle case leaving me no power of steering or breaking forcing me into the center divider. if this happened on a freeway driving speed limit or a busy street the accident would be fatal. Problem has been confirmed by Nissan themselves the year and make of my car has been recalled for this issue. A few days prior I did smell oil burning and was going to the issue looked at at the dealership unfortunately this accident or malfunction happened. …”
NHTSA complaint #11635779, filed 2025-01“I was turning into a parking spot at a store when I tried to break the vehicle accelerated, then was forced into the wall and the vehicle, then went backwards, losing control, and continue to accelerate. The only way I was able to stop. The car is to put it and park and shut the engine off after hitting another vehicle behind me. I could not get out of the vehicle as the door was jammed when I got out of the vehicle it looks as if the steering column shaft came out of its place. It was exposed and stuck below the brake and gas pedals”

It makes this clicking sound, and I can feel the clicking under me like it’s coming from the driver side and I have a maintenance notification on my dashboard fan. The clicking noise has gotten worse and made me do my own research on the problem. The tire needs maintenance, but there’s no flat so something told me to google exactly what was the problem was and I got a message on Google stating that there are many recalls on this particular car about a CV joint on the axle. …”
