“Turning on my vehicle I had extreme loss of power. I will be taking it to the dealer tomorrow. It would not accelerate past 55 miles per hour when the gas petal was pushed all the way to the floor. When I pulled over and turned the car off the vehicle ran fine with Normal power. This is a brand new vehicle with 1000 miles on it. I got it with 3 miles on it”
NHTSA complaint #11574591, filed 2024-02“This vehicle came with a 5-speed manual transmission. I am still learning how to drive a stick shift well, and on my way home from the dealer there were several instances of me stalling the engine due to letting the clutch out too fast. In several of these cases, when I restarted the engine, it acted almost as if it were in limp mode, or if the clutch was slipping badly.”
NHTSA complaint #11552341, filed 2023-10“When you take off from stopping, it jerks some and doesn't want to move. It also will stop in the middle of the road while driving. I bought this car new in 2024. It's very dangerous especially when I have children in the car. It has happened several times.”
NHTSA complaint #11724292, filed 2026-03“I just got my car yesterday. I was leaving work and my car had no power. I couldn't get up to speed for a very long time, it was as if it was in limp mode. I got home and scanned it and got a P2615 code. upon doing research I have found several others having this problem. It is very scary and dangerous to drive this way. Also, cleared the code and it runs fine until the next time. This problem needs to be addressed before someone gets hurt or worse.”
NHTSA complaint #11620014, filed 2024-10“This is a 5-speed manual transmission. When the car is stalled, upon restarting, the vehicle's power is significantly reduced. It becomes very dangerous to start from a stop, which is particularly concerning, as I bought this car for my 16-year old daughter.”
