2013: “Transmission gave up. I was never notified that warranty would expire 4/15/20. I was very sick january and february 2020; I was afraid to leave my home because of covid-19. I live in the sacrament valley in california and I have been maintaining my car as scheduled. Now I need a transmission on a a car that it is not even 10 years old.”
NHTSA complaint #11407766, filed 2021-04, 104,000 miles2018: “We were recently in a car accident in our 2018 Nissan Versa. We were going 55-60 MPH when we swerved to avoid an animal. We broke, but our speed did not decrease much, as we went into a ditch and crashed into the side of this ditch, causing severe mechanical and body damage. The passengers suffered bruises and a concussion. The airbags did not deploy.”
NHTSA complaint #11297235, filed 2020-01, 28,000 miles2010: “I was driving down the freeway this evening on saturday december 19th when I am trying to downshift from 6th and trying get off the freeway I couldn't going to gear so that's when I had the cruise until I came to a stop so after turn the car off for a few minutes I put it in first gear and then I proceeded it again and was able to only drive in first gear on the way home”
