2005: “I am driving my car and the brake light came on battery light came on and then I lost power and it will charge the battery to battery tip acting like he was dead and I put a brand new battery in and it still did the same thing and it wasn't giving the battery any charge I haven't been able to dry my car I got it stuck on the highway it is was in m motion”
NHTSA complaint #11414860, filed 2021-05, 10 miles2007: “Was driving 50km/h with my grandson in the car on a side street when we heard a loud bang and then something dragging on the ground, I pulled over and got out to find the control arm had broken the subframe and hit the ground. Thankfully my self and my grandson were ok and the compressed spring for the rear suspension did not come out of its holder.”
NHTSA complaint #11299229, filed 2020-01, 114,953 miles2020: “I was driving 40 MPH when the car automatic stopped and applied the automatic emergency brake (aeb) was applied with no obstacles around on a clear sunny day. The car is brand new with only 1100 miles on it. Car came to a complete stop. I am afraid for my safety and will contact the dealer where I purchased the car first thing monday morning (11/2).”
