“It was quite scary to have a seatbelt fail in an accident. In addition, they are investigating the cause of the accident. All of a sudden I started to fishtail -- we don't know if a tire or shock blew or what happened. All I do know is that the seatbelt did not stay latched -- it flew off in the crash.”

All 3 of our seat belts in my car released durring the accident. I was the only one with light bruises on my hips but not my shoulder, and everyone else didn't have a mark after the 100mph total impact accident. When the seat belt released, I broke the dash board with my knee, even though my seat was as far back as it could go. Right after the accident, we looked down and our seatbelts were laying next to us or retracted. …”
