NHTSA complaint #11287031, filed 2019-12, 8 miles

“When I was about to be side swiped by another vehicle from the adjacent line, I heavily leaned on the horn and it stuck and continued blowing. I finally stopped it from blowing by hitting it a couple of times. Thinking I had fix the problem, while sitting in the house it started blowing again. After doing this a couple more times I realize I had a problem. I had to remove the fuse to get it to stop.”

NHTSA complaint #10264301, filed 2009-04, 66,400 miles

“My 2000 Oldsmobile Alero has problems starting due to a defect in the passlock system. The security light will illuminate while driving and I have had 5 instances where the vehicle will not start at all. I read the owners manual and followed all the instructions provided. There is no reason for such a flaw, I have taken excellent care of my vehicle.”

NHTSA complaint #10128171, filed 2005-07, 75,000 miles

“While driving in icy conditions, I momentarily lost traction. The power to the engine immediately shut off, causing me to lose power steering and brakes. My car spun about three times, and I finally came to a stop facing traffic. Thankfully, the road was empty, so I was not injured. I am especially worried because my car is part of gms recall, but is not eligible for a new ignition cylinder. Gm claims that a new key will fix my problem, but there was nothing on my key at the time of the incident, so I know this is a lie. …”
