“I was stopped for a red light; the car behind me was coming to a stop when he was impacted by a vehicle traveling over 45 MPH which forced that vehicle into my car, pushing me into the vehicle in front of me. My husband was sitting in the rear passenger seat on the left side; his seat belt shattered and released him from the seat belt causing him to hit the driver seat. I sent an email to GM motors on my concern for this issue. They have since come and looked at the car and report it is ok for this activity to take place. …”
NHTSA complaint #10037512, filed 2003-09, 45,000 miles“One month after purchasing the vehicle I had it back at the dealer for seatbelt not retracting properly. The buttons keep breaking off. Had the rear defroster replaced, the A/C had to be fixed, the brakes and rotors replaced, turn signal switch had to be replaced. The gas gauge currently is not working. There has been so many repairs on this vehicle I can't keep track any more. Continue to have a problem with the car shaking when I have been driving it for a while. Dealer acknowledges there is a problem but has no idea what is causing it. This car is my worst nightmare. …”
