“On the afternoon of july 11, the tread on my left rear tire came apart. Before I could stop and pull over to the side of the road, the tread beat the side of my car causing in excess of $2,300 damage. My insurance company covered $1,800 of the damage. I feel that firestone should be responsible for the rest of the damage. Unfortunately, when I had the spare tire installed, I did not save the old tire. I had all the tires replaced the following week and did save the other three. …”
