“Towards the end of july 2014, the front end started making crunching noises when driving at low speeds, turning and or coming to a stop. I also noticed play in the steering. When I took the car for its oil change on august 19, 2014, the shop informed me that the tie rods were loose and both outer tie rods needed to be replaced. This was done on september 25, 2014, at a cost of $511.70, which included a wheel alignment. At that time the shop recommended I replace my brakes which I did on october 31, 2014. The shop suggested that I get another wheel alignment. …”

NHTSA complaint #10652071, filed 2014-11, 80,000 miles

“A recall for the front hub was issue, however this vehicle was not included in the recall due to VIN. The consumer stated that both hubs had to be replaced within three months from each other. The right front tire was bald with the wires threads showing out of the tire. The dealer showed the consumer a very low hub in a very bad condition with nothing to hold it together.”

NHTSA complaint #10105124, filed 2005-02, 63,273 miles

“Passenger's /front control arm was bent. While driving and making a right turn, vehicle hit the curb. Repairs were made--the 2 front tires were replaced, and the one of the older tires was rotated to the left rear wheel. This left rear wheel currently makes a clicking noise and there is squeaking when brakes are applied. Dealer unable to provide an explanation for this.”

NHTSA complaint #855211, filed 2000-01

“Consumer experiencing ongoing problem with front suspension. Whenever vehicle reaches approximately 50 MPH or more, the vehicle would vibrate and a clicking sound would appear upon vehicle taking off. Vehicle been inspected, and parts was order for repairs, later on the dealer refused to repair the vehicle. Consumer took vehicle to another dealer shop, and was informed nothing could be found wrong.”
