“Was driving normally down road on way to work. Approached intersection and depressed clutch to down shift and apply brake to stop vehicle. However with clutch depressed, the vehicle began to rev up on its own without the accelerator pedal depressed, until it reached the red line. After pumping accelerator about five or six times vehicle stopped revving up. However several miles down the road the vehicle began to rev up again when clutch was depressed to shift gears. This is an ongoing issue, vehicle has been seen by GM dealerships and GM rep but they claim issue cannot be replicated. …”

“Dt: while driving in rainy weather it sounded from the right front corner of the car under the hood like something was grinding or abrasion. It sounded like two bearings rubbing against each other. Took the car to the dealer, and they were not able to hear it. The dealer took it for a test drive, lifted it up onto the lift and was not able to hear any noise. Updated 8/14/2006 - the right front tire warped. The brake calipers warped shortly after the vehicle was purchased. Both front rotors had to be replaced due to warpage. The consumer heard noise on the driver's side front end. …”

“I have a 2004 Grand Am. I bought it from a dealership used with approx. 36,000 miles on it. I have had it for only 4 months and have already replaced the ignition sensor, and have been told to replace the o2 sensor as well. Now the car randomly loses all power when driving at low speeds. This annoyance is accompanied with the car also not even turning over on some occasions. The car cannot be counted on. I'm taking it in for testing.”
