“The headlights keep turning off/on at night on their own, whether I'm driving or stationary, if it were not for the fog lights on the car I would not have been able to see! This has been going on for a month now! I would like to know if this issue needs to be a recall and what can I do about getting this issue resolved without paying for it out of pocket?”

NHTSA complaint #11004327, filed 2017-07, 152,000 miles

“Headlights go out when driving. Normally at night time and when traveling above 40 miles per hour this has been going on for over 24 months and it has started to get more frequent over the last 6 months.(not sure this is because of more night time driving I have been doing] this is a serious safety hazard I am now spending $580 on a computer issue and on top of all the other issues to deal with>I am hoping this solves the problem”

NHTSA complaint #11128536, filed 2018-09, 120,000 miles

“Headlight and low beams are not working again. Replaced this problem about three - four months ago and again stopped working after spent 300.00. I was coming out of the store got into the car and started driving and went out again. I see there is lots of people having the same problem and something needs to be done. Now again I am without a car and cant drive it again at night.”

NHTSA complaint #10609732, filed 2014-07, 116,000 miles

“The low beams on our 2006 Grand Prix go out with out warning while driving. We do have high beam lights. The vehicle is moving when the lights go out. It happened on the highway and on city streets. There is no warning when it will happen. It has happened a number of times but will come back on could be hours or day before they start working again. When I take it to the shop it is working and they can't find the problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10885330, filed 2016-07, 85,000 miles

“My power steering went out and when you try to go over 40 the car lunges forward and has a hard time shifting and will continue while in cruise control. I already had work done on the fuel line cause the line was clogged and the vehicle would lunge forward cause the fuel wasn't getting pushed through. My power steering went out after my boyfriend parked it. He only noticed it when he tried driving away and he couldn't turn the wheel like usual. The cruise control does its thing while in motion. Also the headlamps! …”
