Example complaints

Electrical system: “Hi, we reside in canada, therefore the mileage is registered in kms. The vehicle now has 78,000 kms on it. The ABS system has been failing, the light originally came on about a week ago. When I first turned the vehicle off the first time the light went off. Now it is on all the time. I believe that the under laying problem with the ebcm module and/or wheel sensors. …”

NHTSA complaint #10298718, filed 2010-01, 46,600 miles

Brakes: “While driving the car brake on its own. This has happened several time in the past couple of months. I plug in the computer to check the trouble codes and I have pulled 8 different codes. My family refuses to drive the vehicle because of the hazard.”

NHTSA complaint #10550116, filed 2013-10, 87,002 miles

Electronic stability control: “We've been having an issue with the van decelerating on its own and having to lay down on the gas to get it going again. Still havn't found out what it is. Now our awd disabled light came on. This worries me because we live in mn and have terrible roads in the winter. That is one reason we bought this van is for the awd.”

NHTSA complaint #10410985, filed 2011-07, 58,000 miles

Engine: “When it's cold and you start the vehicle I get a message reduced engine power. You have to immediately shut it off. Som etimes when you are driving down the road and it is warmed up it will do this and you have to find a safe place to pull over because if you try to give it gas it won't go anyways. I think it is a safety hazard because it can happen when you are going 70 MPH on the interstate and cars are right on your ass. Luckily I wasn't on the interstate but I was on a highway going 60mph when it happened.”
