Example complaints

One per model year, chosen for length and detail. Personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

2014: “My 2014 Panamera 4 started having this issue on 10/09/2019. I placed the car in park and found that the car was still moving like it was in neutral. I have to set the emergency brake on the car before leaving it or it might roll down the street and into traffic. It sounds like it has to be tied to the recall 19v-446.”

NHTSA complaint #11267831, filed 2019-10, 74,400 miles

2010: “Failure of the high pressure fuel pump caused loss of power. Vehicle driven to Porsche dealer who was too busy to do a scan for an entire week and sent me away on a 65 MPH highway. My repair shop scanned and identified the problem. Car at home to be towed into Porsche dealer for repairs. Cannot be driven because loss of power could cause sudden stop and serious accident on highway.”

NHTSA complaint #10956944, filed 2017-02, 65,000 miles

2012: “Power steering failed suddenly, car became very difficult to steer. This is the fourth time we have lost power steering in this vehicle in the 10 months we've owned it (since new.) prior losses did not occur suddenly and were preceded by loud noises when turning wheel. This incident caused alarm because it came without warning.”

NHTSA complaint #10465875, filed 2012-07, 16,670 miles
