“Power steering continues to go out, vibration and sticking as I press the brake, and clunking in the suspension. Dealership cannot figure it out!!!!! Vibration occurs constantly, more so on start up. Clunking occurs when going around a turn at any MPH. I have videos to show both issues!”

NHTSA complaint #11364087, filed 2020-10, 1,600 miles

“My 2019 Ram 2500 limited has the forward collision warning system, however, the system does not function as sold or intended. I have taken the vehicle to multiple dealerships in an attempt to resolved the issue, however neither the dealerships nor FCA has any idea how to resolve. Fca customer service believes it may be software related, but currently has no idea when/if a solution will arise. Currently the vehicle sensors do not seem to function at all, and the vehicle absolutely could not prevent a forward collision if required. …”

NHTSA complaint #11245738, filed 2019-08, 5,350 miles

“While driving 50 mph in traffic 2019 Ram 2500 Bighorn 6.7 Cummings Diesel lost power, steering failed and brakes failed. I had to use the emergency brake to avoid a crash. I had my daughter and 2 grandsons in the truck. ESC or ESCM light and engine light. Then the truck wouldn’t turn off. Then there was an awful noise from under the hood - it was a now loose pulley and belt.”

NHTSA complaint #11626533, filed 2024-11

“Service ESC flashing on the dash intermittently. If I am in cruise control when it happens vehicle abruptly disables cruise control. Codes when ready are U0002 and U0212. Same problem happened about a year ago, dealer reflashed ABS and sent me on my way. I informed them of other similar trucks experiencing the same issue and that it wasn't a reflash issue. Had them document my concerns that it would just happen again after warranty...I was right.”

NHTSA complaint #11603764, filed 2024-07

“dash board displays trailer not connected when it is then lights and brakes goes out and will not come back on. this happens every time I haul. I have to pull over on the side and disconnect and reconnect tailer and shut off the engine and restart to reset. sometimes this works most times not. Last time it happened at 12am doing 70mph on I 95 and almost caused a severe accident. I have called dealer and the manufacturer and nhtsa and reported to no avail. This same control brake module on newer vehicles has been recalled but not on mine?”
