“I was driving through the ted williams tunnel and the left front coil spring broke. I did not hit a bump. The spring caused a catastropic failure of the left front tire. I had to be towed out of the tunnel and have new coil springs installed.”
NHTSA complaint #10257604, filed 2009-02, 51,275 miles“My 2004 Saab arc convertible is equipped with the wrong wheels and tires. It is equipped with 215/55 r16 93 h m+s tires and wheels. The owners manual recommends 225/45 r17 94 w rf/xl tires for the 2.0 turbo engine. My car has said engine. This compromises safety and performance. I discovered this on 10-17-2005.”
