“Vehicle power door locks do not operate unless the car is being shifted in or out of park nor does the key fob work. Vehicle was taken to GM dealer and I was told they could not find a verifiable issue with the door locks. I have been locked out of the vehicle several time because there have been moments that the doors lock on their own. The dash lights also dim on their own and the chime no longer sounds when the doors are opened.”

The contact mentioned that the power locks would repeatedly lock and unlock independently while the vehicle was in motion. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 97,000.”
