“Was going 64mph and had cruise control on. When accelerator pedal was touched cruise control failed to release. Cruise control had become stuck. Finally able to shift out of gear and tapped on brakes. Cruise control released after vehicle hit two other vehicles. Taken vehicle to dealership, and was informed by mechanic that cable to control module was loose and needed to be repaired.”

Driver applied the emergency brake and manually turned off the cruise control to stop vehicle. The dealer is aware of the problem. Vehicle will be checked.”
