“The ignition was not turning over properly. The battery light was on. The brake light came on. The traction control system came on. The (ABS) light came on. The check engine light came on. The oil pressure light came on. I drove my car from fresno to yosemite and right in front of the park garage it broke down and I managed to roll it off the road and into a stall. I requested professional advice. The professional said it appeared to him to be a faulty altenator, a failed electrical system, and a battery problem, as well as a problem with the ignition switch. …”

The ignition switch/core had to be replaced. This we paid for out of pocket even though GM knew about similar ignition issues with Saturn vue's and other cars. We are still experiencing problems with the ignition. The car completely shuts down while driving. The key will fall out of the ignition while driving. …”
