“While drive southbound in the middle lane on I-95 during morning rush hour traffic. I noticed a slight shake in the steering for approximately 2 seconds before my vehicle started to fishtail towards the left and right with tractor trailers on both sides of me. I pushed in the clutch and the brake and placed my vehicle in neutral to slow my vehicle down while attempting to move over to the right shoulder of the road.”
NHTSA complaint #11258515, filed 2019-09, 161,921 miles“My 2006 Saturn VUE started experiencing vibration while braking and jerking of the steering wheel during deceleration, making it very difficult to control at high speeds. I was advised the rotors needed to be shaved by the dealership; however, I declined this offer since my VUE had less than 25,000 miles on it. I ask that Saturn replace the rotors under manufacturer's warranty.”
NHTSA complaint #10203874, filed 2007-09, 15,000 miles“First the vehicle has made a strange noise from the rear of the SUV. I thought it were just the tires but I took it to a shop and found that the bearings on all four tires needed replaced. Shortly after, we were stranded on a rainy florida afternoon at a stop light when the vehicle would not move.the transmission can go into reverse but no forward gear. Cost to replace/ rebuilt $2500.00, more than the car is worth. Furthermore the radio turns on whenever it wants to, it fades in and out of all local stations. Worst american car I have ever purchased. That is probably why they went bankrupt.”
NHTSA complaint #10626909, filed 2014-08, 95,000 miles“Left front hub bearing needed replacing left front hub assembly needed replacing front wheel shakes and makes noise when in motion 2016-2017-2018 general motors denied claim”
NHTSA complaint #11088613, filed 2018-04, 80,000 miles“My cars hubcaps have fell off several times and j can't find a size that fits 2 of them so I don't have any. My ignition switch gets stuck while parked and I've been locked out if my car several times. There are times where it won't turn at all and I have to lock the steering wheel and try to jiggy the key forever. The key doesn't turn all the way to the off switch and the key can be removed while driving. Now my passenger side door won't up. …”
