2012 Scion XB Body and structure Problems

“White paint. The paint starting flaking off in large sheets on it's own, no connection to vehicle damage, weather, etc. Paint is now gone from my entire roof, half the hood, multiple other places. Continues chipping and flaking, car is only 8 years old and this is an obvious defect. Been happening for over a year, about 1/3 of the paint on my car is now gone. Can provide lots of pictures.”

Both cars were totaled and removed from the scene by a tow truck. I received a notification in the mail in april 2019 3 month after my accident regarding the recall id #287614, I have since contacted toyota and the refused to compensate me for my loss. They have tried to relocate my car for inspection but the insurance company who has possession of my car after the accident, no longer has it. …”

My car has been totaled in this accident. I have since contacted toyota about my accident and they have refused to help compensate for my loss. My car was towed to the insurance company and is no longer accessible for inspection. I would like for toyota to take some responsibility for this accident. I have not fully recovered from losing my vehicle financially and I do believe 100% that this recall was the cause of the accident. …”
