“I purchased my bike brand new in 2006 and it has what appears to be cracks/lines on the rims. Have read that others have noticed this to. Now with only 7000 miles on it I removed the gas tank because it was not running correctly. Upon removing the fuel filter/pump from the gas tank I noticed pieces of plastic debris everywhere. It appears that gas ate through the plastic coating on the wires of the fuel filter/pump. Now the bike only sputters when in gear and will not drive. Not sure what to do and if this is going to be a safety problem. …”
