Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Improper factory alignment leading to excessive and premature tire wear on all four tires which creates a safety issue - tire blowout. Toyota refuses to address the issue since my car is 11 months old (within their 1 year warranty period) but has 15K miles (outside their warranty period). Local Toyota dealership stated the car has a bad factory alignment which was confirmed by an independent repair shop. Car is available for inspection but I need to get an alignment as well as new tires to keep the vehicle safe.”
