Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“New car just over 1000 miles. Rear tire blows on freeway, no pothole or anything hit. Since owning the car I've heard a faint thudding when going over 65 miles an hour. No indicator light and the tires felt hard, not deflated when I checked. So I thought it might just be an uneven road making that sound. Now I believe it was the tire. I have tons of photos if needed. I fishtailed on the freeway and was close enough to an exit that I got off on it. Luckily did not cause an accident.”
