“The vsc and trac lights started coming after a clucking sound heard from underneath the car followed by a loss of power. After turning the car off and back on again it goes away. But it comes back intermittently. The problem needs to be fixed. I am concerned about the safety of my family as we will need to go on a long family trip in a few weeks. Please help.”

NHTSA complaint #10662500, filed 2014-12, 165,000 miles“The vehicle , while starting and pulling out onto the road, would seem to try to take over and pulsate and apply the brakes. Very dangerous! I paid for computer analysis to be done, which verified the c1231 ABS control system fault, but Toyota does not want to reimburse me for my prior expenses due to their defect. Frustrating!”
