  Reported issue: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2026 Sienna Hybrid 7-passenger vehicles. The second-row seat backs may fail to remain secured in the event of a crash.

  Possible consequence: A seat back that is not secured may fail to properly protect an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

  Remedy: Dealers will update the supplemental restraint system (SRS) electronic control unit (ECU) software. For vehicles equipped with the "Mobility as a Service" (MaaS) package, dealers will replace the two second-row seat backs. Repairs will be performed free of charge.
